While in Florence we wanted to get some pictures of ourselves in this beautiful city. After doing some online reviewing of several photographers in Florence we found Dorin to be the most appealing. He replied quickly to my emails, I really liked his work with previous clients, and he was affordable.

He took us to some beautiful locations to shoot my husband and I. He sent us the final pictures the second day and they came out beautifully.

We decided to hire him for Venice too, as our kids were joining us and we wanted some more pictures all together.

When he arrived, he brought us as a present some prints from our session in Florence. I can't describe the quality, but I knew for sure that I want all my pictures to be printed at the same standards. We ended ordering prints directly from him from both our sessions in Florence and Venice and a printed album. It took about 4 weeks until the prints and the album arrived, but it was totally worth it.

So if you are going to Florence you should consider hiring Dorin to give you some memorable photos that you will cherish forever!

Everything went so smooth. After the initial friendly, professional and efficient communication, I already knew we were in the right hands. We discussed the structure, organization and timing of the photoshoot and it immediately clicked. I was uncertain how to set up the photoshoot so that it would not spoil the surprise of the proposal. Dorin had great ideas and worked with the venue to ensure that he and his team would blend into the background to not give away the surprise.
This worked flawlessly. My partner said that she did not notice anything before the proposal, giving us the privacy that we wanted for this intimate moment.

The photoshoot after the proposal was excellent and well prepared. Dorin brought out the best of this special moment and the location.
We received the first batch of pictures on the same night, before we even got home. This was great to spread the news with friends and family. The rest of the pictures were already finished on the day after the shooting.

We were in touch for about a month leading up to the event planning out the logistics. He was helpful with suggesting locations and ideas in Florence, which was great as I didn’t know my way around the city well at all.

I had to change the location at the 11th hour, and he was so flexible and easy to work with. He was at the location right on time and ended up capturing the most amazing photos. We are truly in awe of how he captured the essence/emotion of the moment.

He was kind enough to arrange a photoshoot at our hotel, even though he lives and works in Florence, a 2 hour drive away.

He brought his partner with us, who did a marvelous job of doing our hair and make up so that we looked pretty in the pictures 🙂 Dorin made sure we had a fun time posing for the portraits, which was a very welcome effort on his part, since our family is rather camera-shy. After a couple of hours, we were done and a few weeks later, he sent us the result.

We were extremely happy with the result! Dorin is a professional through and through, and it showed in the pictures. The pictures he took do a good job of conveying the uplifting mood we were all in during our holiday, and we are very grateful to him for helping us capture this memorable moment in our lives!
